Eric Wolfram's Writing, Rebound Heaven

Rebound Heaven

Her heart is on a roller coaster ride
It aches for the thousandth time
But no worries now
Cause the Valium she took
Is working well with her wine

She's looking for a rebound fling
To take the edge off a dear John sting
A bit of the hair of the dog that bit her
To give him the space he needs to forget her
So he can move on

Plumber, husband, doctor, or musician
Whoever puts her in a submissive position
Then he will do fine
Cause the Valium she took
Is working well with her wine
And she is ready to try one more time
To forget the dog that bit her
The dog whom she thought befit her
To forget the dog and move on
